The Symposium Weekend brings together an internationally diverse group of directors from leading research institutions to share their work in the arts, design and media-based research, spanning augmented reality to the visualization and auralization of scientific data. Billie Cowie: In the Flesh

In the Flesh is an uncanny, intimate experience—a viewer enters a darkened space, wearing 3D glasses. Inside, they are surprised to see a dancer on the ground in front of them. Although she is in fact a projection, she appears to be actually in the space, solid and real.
